Guy Sebastian appears at a LaunchPR opening
Guy Sebastian will headline the opening of a new Public Relations consultancy, LaunchPR, at the
Adelaide
Entertainment Centre on Friday August 20 as his launches his new album Twenty
Eleven.
The launch party presents a guest
list of high profile South Australians, including pop singer-songwriter Guy Sebastian, South Australian Tourism
Minister John Rau, local band The Romantics and South Australian
businesses directors, reflecting LaunchPR’s leading clients.
“I’m excited to launch my new
album Twenty Eleven in conjunction
with LaunchPR, it is great to see a legitimate Public Relations Event agency in
Adelaide that can support me when I come home,” Mr Sebastian said.
LaunchPR
will specialise in event launches in South Australia, bringing a wide local
knowledge to all clients, marking the beginning of the company’s future
investment in the state.
The organisation of young and
innovative employers is collectively run by three main directors: Melissa
Wildy, Marie Millicent Sherratt, and Thomas Edwards.
Melissa Wildy is an experienced industry professional, working with leading international
PR Company, Portor Novelli, before
returning to invest in her home town of Adelaide.
“LaunchPR recognises the gap in
the industry and the need for specialisation in launching events,” Ms Wildy
said.
Local businesswomen with global
experience, Marie Millicent Sherratt,
has travelled and worked in countries across the world including London, New
York and Berlin.
“My experience will benefit global
clients who want to host an event in South Australia,” Ms Sherratt said.
Thomas Edwards, a former Adelaide journalist, has been a leading PR consultant for
nine years before joining Melissa and Marie to build LaunchPR.
